So I had an awesome time this weekend caught a lot of fish and was on the boat 85 percent of the day so there was no lifting/exercise involved :-/ and had too many carbs lol oh well not gonna die! Gotta find some time to exercise between work, grocery shopping (my favorite), a 4 hour class, and reading a 200 page book for a test tomorrow—aannnddddd reality hits me like a ton of bricks!

Found this article on how we get hooked to bad foods..

“Once the food is consumed, the brain is flooded with calming opiates; over time, the mere visual or verbal suggestion of these foods trigger this dopamine-opiate craving and the desire—rather than the need—to eat. Furthermore, as any shopper can attest, the most addictive foods are the most available, the most attractively packaged and often the least expensive. (It’s no accident, for example, that stacks of chocolate stand guard at the check-out line in most Trader Joe’s—right across from the stacks of beer.) This overstimulating environment results in what Kessler calls “conditioned hypereating.” For anyone who has struggled with those last few cookies in the box, Kessler’s theory rings true…”
